Piazza Wi-Fi Italia, the app to connect the country has been renewed

The new App allows you to view, even in the absence of connection or registration, the hotspots of all federated WiFi networks throughout the country. This way users gain the richness and coverage of the service before they even sign up. The app, available for both iOS and Android, simplifies and makes access to the service transparent for citizens and tourists, according to a logic of data minimization.

The completely renewed WiFi Italia app for iOS and Android is now available in the stores. Infratel Italia continues to develop tools and functions to offer citizens accessible, transparent and  advanced services. For these reasons, a new version of the WiFi Italia App has been released. The new App allows you to view, even in the absence of connection or registration, the hotspots of all federated WiFi networks throughout the country.
This way users gain the richness and coverage of the service before they even sign up. The app, available for both iOS and Android, simplifies and makes access to the service transparent for citizens and tourists, according to a logic of data minimization. VIDEO

The basic idea from which the new version is born is to improve and simplify the user experience during the registration phase, minimizing compilation errors by less experienced users (also increasing the conversion rate); A Help section and an exhaustive and updated FAQ list to help you configure the service easily.
The aim is to allow citizens and tourists to connect for free and in a simple way to a free WiFi network spread throughout the country via the dedicated app, with automatic connection in all points reached by the Ministry of Economic Development Piazza WiFi Italia project. By accessing the App, an interactive map is displayed, in order to offer users a simple and immediate tool to identify the WiFi access points in the vicinity, search for availability in other
areas and also view the direction to reach the closest hotspot. close, even before you have signed up.
