Corning Incorporated and Infratel Italia have donated medical laboratory consumables to the Institute of Health. Support to deal with the workload in this emergency period and to support efforts to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on medical supply networks in Italy. These are 100,000 pipettes, i.e. instruments that allow the collection and subsequent delivery of liquids, which the companies have delivered to the Istituto Superiore di Sanità which will take care of distributing them to the various medical structures that will need them.
Infratel Italia is a longtime partner of Corning for fiber optic solutions in Italy and today the two companies join together to extend their close collaboration and help medical laboratories to combat the impact of COVID-19 in Italy.
It is the Municipality of Bussero, Lombardia, the last administration has asked to join the project.

As part of the ‘’ Piazza Wi-Fi Italia ’’ Infratel ItalIa S.p.A. project in agreement with the MISE and in collaboration with the technical partner TIM and the Ministry for Ecological Transition, it will supply and install of WiFi Access Points in public hospitals that can request them through an email communication to hospitalwifitalia@infratelitalia.it
