Municipality of Aieta

We publish the speech by Pasquale De Franco, mayor of Aieta, in Calabria, where free hotspots have been activated and joins the Municipalities that have already joined the WiFi Italia Project.

“The historic center of Aieta is the noble fulcrum, the shining mirror of this mountain area, still intact and full of charm and Palazzo Spinelli, with its large Renaissance-style facade, on top of the town, is the symbol of the glorious past and of the present of our community. Aieta is part of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

To enhance this combination of history, culture, mountains and hospitality, we want to participate in the country's digitization process; the Wifi Italia project is part of this effort to provide increasingly efficient services to citizens and tourists".
