We publish the speech by Giuseppe Peraino, Mayor of San Viito Lo Capo, in Sicily, where the free hotspots have been activated and in addition to the Municipalities that have joined the WiFi Italy Project.
Our administration immediately joined the Piazza Wifi Italia Project; thanks to the WiFi Italy project of the Ministry of Economic Development (which installed the necessary technological elements), to which the Municipality of San Vito Lo Capo (which made connectivity available) joined, much of our territory is covered by a totally free WiFi network.
For the year 2021 there are a total of 6 access points active or in the activation phase, as many can be requested for the year 2022. Being part of a public and free network is an important opportunity to provide new services to citizens and a useful in addition to the many tourists who come to know San Vito Lo Capo, one of the pearls of the Mediterranean.
