Municipality of Mazara del Vallo

We publish the speeche by Salvatore Quinci, Mayor of Mazara del Vallo, in Sicily, where the free hotspots have been activated and in addition to the municipalities that have joined the WiFi Italy project.

Free wi fi in the city becomes a reality. Thanks to the 'Piazza Wi Fi Italia' project promoted by the Ministry of Economic Development and Infratel Italy, to which our Municipality has enthusiastically joined, the 12 installations of the systems foreseen in this first project phase have been completed.

An initiative is implemented that allows citizens, tourists and visitors to connect, for free and in a simple way through the dedicated App, to a free and widespread wifi
network throughout the country. Free and free connectivity can represent a further incentive for the tourist increase in perspective, also useful for the enhancement
of the landscape and food and wine excellence of our city, strengthening the role of multicultural city and reference point for fishing in the Euro-Mediterranean area
that Mazara del Vallo represents ”.
