We are publishing today the speech by Francesco Lepore, the first citizen of Galluccio, in Campania, that has decided to join the "Piazza WiFi Italy" and where the free hotspots are activated.
Opening a window on the world is always a good idea. Just as it is trying to offer better services to visitors, tourists and ordinary citizens. It is with this spirit that we took with great enthusiasm the opportunity offered by the Ministry of Economic Development and Infratel Italy to be able to equip our small town with a public wifi network, modern and accessible to all.
The Municipality of Galluccio is a village that stands at the foot of the extinct volcano of Roccamonfina, in that part of the high Caserta area bordering Lazio and Molise. A diamond set among vineyards, hills overlooking the sea, architectural beauty, farmhouses, chestnut groves and unspoiled nature that makes it one of the most fascinating places in Campania. This is why the realization of the wifi Italia project has a particular meaning for us, a strategic importance: being able to increase the offer of digital services means connecting (better and more) our territory to modernity; be smart without having to give up our green vocation; offer important support to local businesses and, last but not least, expand the offer of services to our fellow citizens.
An opportunity, therefore, to look to the future with confidence and lay the foundations of an infrastructure modernization that is absolutely indispensable in an era in which the importance of social networks and the web in general has assumed gigantic proportions. We are ready."
