Technology can help to make the most of the opportunities that our territory offers: a land rich in water, and the presence of numerous fountains, explain the name of the town and its position, nestled on the north ridge of the hill, surrounded by vegetation luxuriant and wild with its own characteristic shades of green.

Visiting Acquaviva Collecroce means immersing yourself in a very special atmosphere, between the chivalrous magic of the Middle Ages and the customs and traditions of ancient Slavic populations. Existing in the thirteenth century, the small town of Molise was marked by the presence of the knights of the Order of Malta until the eighteenth century. and from the settlement of Slavic populations that arrived around the 15th-16th century, which have managed to maintain their idiom up to the present day. Walking through the narrow streets of the ancient village, you can come across some friendly old woman who expresses herself in Croatian-Molise, or ours (na-našu), mysterious signs can be seen such as the eight-pointed star, a palindrome formula in Latin and a cross of the Templars, which are difficult to interpret but which give rise to theses on a presence of the inscrutable Order of the Knights Templar.

In the middle part of the town there is the church dedicated to Santa Maria Ester, built in the XV century. and rebuilt from its foundations in 1715 by the Order of the Knights of Malta, in a simple Baroque style. One more reason to stop in Acquaviva and enjoy a territory surrounded by greenery, at 450 meters above sea level, which however is only 30 km away. "
