We are publishing the speech by Dario Corvi, the first citizen of Aprica, in Lombardia, that has decided to join the "Piazza WiFi Italy" and where the free hotspots are activated.
Aprica has joined the "Piazza Wifi Italia" project to offer everyone an easy and free connection, spread throughout the country, especially in this period of strong increase in smart-working. Aprica is mainly frequented by families and the accommodation is based on hotels, apartments and holiday homes that are not always equipped with wifi and therefore the widespread network integrates private offers. Aprica is located in Valtellina, in a strategic accessible geographical position.
In winter, the offer ranges from alpine skiing, with 50 km of slopes, to snowshoe trails, tracks for ski mountaineering and fat biking, ice skating and much more. In summer, over 200 km of well-kept and equipped paths are suitable for everyone and can also be covered in part by mountain bike or e-bike. Golf, archery, sport fishing, tennis, climbing, are some of the summer sports proposals in the open air; the sports hall equipped for soccer, basketball and volleyball is ideal for retreats, as is the swimming pool.
Peculiarity of Aprica is the Alpine Eco-Wildlife Observatory which also houses 2 bears and is located within the Regional Park of Orobie Valtellinesi; very close are the Pian di Gembro Nature Reserve and the Valli di S. Antonio Nature Reserve. Sporting and cultural events, a rich food and wine, the ski museum and the murals in the districts complete the tourist offer of Aprica
