This is why we have joined the opportunity offered by Infratel with the Mise "Piazza Wifi Italia" project, an extra service for citizens and tourists who can fully enjoy the opportunities offered by Aielli, one of the highest towns in the plateau of Fucino, in the heart of the Marsica. Its altitude varies from 650 meters above sea level of the Fucense plain to 1818 of Mount Etra, the village is located on a rocky spur and its dominant position has made it, in the course of Roman and medieval history, an ideal place for defense. and observation; but previously there are evidence of human presence starting from the Bronze Age.
Not to be missed, for those visiting Aielli, the splendid medieval tower of 1300, called Torre delle stelle, which has become an important astronomical observatory open to the public with the Museum of the sky and the scientific library; the churches, a precious heritage of this village, cannot be overlooked: the Church of SS.
